To become a Model is not easy!! Being a model has a few exceptions, being a model, is hard work too and it takes a lot of drive and determination. It is a lot to be active in the model industry, and not just great looks and a pretty smile, but you have to have that certain something.

So you want to be a model? Do you have what it takes? Many pretty-in-person girls make terrible models and sometimes the plain Jane's just take your breath away on film. It takes much more than just a pretty face and a slim figure to make it as a mainstream model. You need to have the total package, a mix of genetics and personality, in order to thrive in the modelling industry.

Mainstream modelling is when we talk about making it is when we are talking about the models you see in magazines and advertisements. There are specialty models, models with a specific look or talent, but that is not the type of model we are talking about here. Plus sized models, niche models, body part models and models with unique skills are some examples of specialty models but we want to tell you what agents look for in the average model. The base line parameters are very small, models need to have a specific body type, be within a certain height range and have good bone structure. Have these core ingredients and you have a good shot at making it as a model. Have the right skills and personality and you just may be the next supermodel.

So what traits does a successful model need to have? And who tells you!? Of course, a model agency. The clients know that and know what is wanted and how they can market yourself successfully. To become a successful  model and earn good monthly wage, it can take up to 2 years if not longer. The structure of the Model Books and learning of different poses in front of the camera or on the walk on the catwalk usually have to be trained hard, being a model you need to have many ingredients to have a good shot!

The right clothes before shooting!

Especially for laundry or swimwear shoot one should note a couple of small but important things in advance. 
For the customer, it is not only important in an undergarment shoot that the model should be maintained and appear well, but also it immensely important that impressions can not be seen on the skin.

Most clothes we wear, leaves marks: Too tight jeans, the confederation of socks to underwear or a tight constricting bra. These imprints need usually hours to disappear again. The photographer or the one who edited the images, unnecessary work and costs the customer has set their budget. Footprints to the skin are therefore a cost factor and this is also somewhat unprofessional. At an underwear shoot would be better to attract casual, loose clothes. It is best to dispense a few hours before the shooting and on arrival throughout the BH or other tight clothing. When shooting, you can warm up or covering or can take a bath robe, thick socks without collar and a towel.

Majestic Models brings you Fashion comes to Chester in aid of Majestic Wishes

MajesticWishes Children’s Charity launched Fashion comes to Chester on Sunday 13^th September 2015 were children from Majestic Models and Casting strutted their stuff down the glitzy runway, but some of the real hero’s on the day was the brave poorly children who also take to the runway. Not to mention their youngest model on the catwalk the adorable Summer-Joules who is just 21 months old and is the reason to why Majestic Wishes Children’s Charity exists. (See photo of Summer-Joules) 

                                                                  

Fashion comes to Chester was held at the Double Tree Hilton in Hoole, Chester. The aim of the event was to raise as much funds as they can to help reach their goals and aspirations of helping bring smiles upon the children’s face and the children’s parents. The fashion show” featured many of the gorgeous Majestic Models from their juniors division who has been personally selected. Some of the children walked the catwalk are the special children that have asked us to help make their wishes come true. The event featured: a fashion show, live entertainment by the amazing Nicky B as our host and fabulous singer, Nicky B has just finished playing a lead role next to Dexter Fletcher, the movie will be on our screens real soon. At the fashion show there was many stores with lots of goodies for sales, not to mention Minnie and Mickey Mouse and the amazing Goofy to who all made an appearance to wow the children with an amazing balloon drop for the finale whilst everyone sang Let it Go from Frozen.

Cute youngsters had their turn in the spotlight, cheered on by an amazing audience.
